This beach house is sure to be the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or small gathering with good friends and family. A charming small cottage that features a full kitchen, computer with internet, 50' plasma TV, stereo system, hardwood floors, 2 beach bikes, snorkel gear, boogie board, beach chairs, towels, outdoor shower and so much more. Take a walk to the end of the block and have dinner at one of La Jolla's best Mexican restaurants (with amazing margaritas!) or head over to La Jolla Cove for some of the best dining experiences in San Diego.

Hosts with the Most!

This is a home away from home completely stocked and so many extras provided for. You cannot actually see the ocean from the property, but it is just around the block and located at an excellent and popular surfing spot. Having access to the boogie boards, bikes, snorkel gear (nice), cooler, hottub, washer/dryer, etc made it worth it. Plus, the owners stocked the fridge, left fresh flowers and wine and also provided us with a portable crib and books for our toddler who loved bathing in the kitchen sink since there is no bathtub (and we loved the rain shower).
Another huge bonus was finding everything we needed for preparing meals and cocktails, down to cooking spray, herbs and spices, etc. The place is kept quite immaculate and there were movies and games - it was just like being a guest in someone's well taken care of home. We often rode bikes into the Cove area or Bird rock for activities and dining - about a 10 minute ride. We loved our stay here and hope to return!

Way better than a hotel

My girlfriend and I wanted to go to our second favorite city (La Jolla) for the weekend.

We've stayed at La Valencia hotel before but wanted something more private and unique. This Windansea house is exactly the type of place I'd like to buy in the future as a second home.

It's cozy, has better amenities than a hotel and overall we had a great time! We will be coming back.

Excellent place, excellent service

Stayed here for my honeymoon. The people who own this place are incredible and so thoughtful. They programmed the door lock number code so that it was our wedding date!

I think they remodeled since the photos were taken because the kitchen is amazing and completely different than the shot shown, with dark wood cabinets and granite countertops. Also, the bathroom might be one of the coolest bathrooms I have ever seen.

We BBQ on the deck every night and walked the 1/2 block down to the beach for sunset. If you are looking for a romantic and awesome getaway or just a trip to the beach, stay here!

Amazing! Pure Heaven

I stayed here with my boyfriend over Memorial Day Weekend and it was amazing.

The people who own the place are very friendly and accommodating and the most beautiful beach in all of San Diego is steps away.

We easily rode bikes into Pacific Beach (PB) and Mission Beach and dined at some amazing restaurants. We ended each night with a dip in the hot tub.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away, it is pure heaven and SO much better than a hotel!
