Proprietor, Sir Dr Russell Betts ('Russ') lived & worked most of his professional life in Asia, the South Pacific & Europe, addressing through non-governmental agencies issues of social, economic, & political change. His partner, Noel Bennett, lived most of her life in the Southwest. She is a full-time artist and has authored 9 books on Navajo weaving, history, & culture, She was a prominent national figure in the weaving world :: When you arrive, we are there to personally greet and orient you--and answer questions. In addition, we offer a welcome binder which includes maps of Santa Fe and the environs and some ideas of things to do and places to go. A very favorite with our guests is our extensive section of restaurant menus -- arranged by closeness of proximity (those to walk or drive to) and by special interests such as Take Out, Healthy Eating, Favorites with Kids, Less Expensive Fare.
