Why Marco?: We've been going to Marco Island for our family vacations for over 10 years. We've spent nearly every Spring Break and Thanksgiving Break enjoying the island, but with active teenagers it is getting tougher to get there as often as we would like. The beaches are so expansive that it never really has felt crowded to us. Over the past decade, we've seen the island grow with additional quality shopping and restaurants. If you are boaters, boats can be rented at reasonable rates at most of the Marinas on the island to explore the intercoastal waterways. I don't think we've ever taken the boat out without seeing a dolphin. There are sand bars for beaching the boat and awesome shelling...shells, sanddollars, starfish. It is a great family place in Florida, even during Spring Break season. If you have any questions, please feel free to call!

The description was accurate and the owner was very nice to deal with. I would recommend this property to a friend and would love to rent it again if we venture that way next summer. Overall, it was a fantastic family vacation where we created memories to last us a life time.

The Perfect Retreat

Just back from Marco, and had a wonderful stay here. The home is lovely and exactly as described. The location was excellent...the southern exposure is wonderful and the pool is in the sun all day! When tired of the sun, the lanai provided a great retreat to the shade and place to eat all that BBQ (thanks to the gas grill). The house is on a quiet street, but yet very close to all the shops and restaurants on Collier Blvd. Tigertail Beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away.

The house is well maintained and cared for. Dana handles the property in a very professional manner and was very attentive and quick to respond to all my emails and inquiries. Strangely enough, I feel that I have known her for years after this experience.

We stayed here with a 9 month old child, and found a very helpful shop on island that rents baby furniture called Tiny Tikes Treasures (check their website for pricing and list of items). We rented a full size crib, jogging stroller, pack n play, high chair and room monitors for the week for around $150. They coordinated the pickup and delivery of the equiptment directly with the cleaning crew and everything was there upon our arrival.


If there werent so many places in the world i want to see, i would definitely come back. In the meanwhile, i have raved to all I know about our stay and have directed them to this house.

Enjoy! ....we did.

Our family stayed in Marco in this house in Jan. The weather was great with a few exceptions.The home was great. The swimming pool wonderful. Dana was great
to work with. The home has everything you need. For those using internet you might get an "anytime stick"
because the library internet service is marginal. Overall a great vacation and I recommend it to all.. RF

A fabulous place to holiday!

My Husband and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday on Marco Island. This villa is absolutely lovely and equipped with everything needed to enjoy a very happy holiday.The swimming pool was fabulous and a lovely place to cool down a little from the very hot weather. It looks right on to the water way where we were lucky enough to see dolphins swim by. The terrace beside the pool is a very nice place to have a barbecue or drink if you fancy a relaxing evening in.

Marco Island is fairly quiet but very nice with some delicious restaurants - we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food at Kathy O'clarke's Irish Bar and Grill and would definitely recommend it.

Two highlights of our trip were taking an airboat into the Everglades and going out on a boat with Captain Barry to spot Manatees - both within a 20 - 30 minute drive of the villa. We also drove down to Key West, Fort Lauderdale and up to Busch Gardens so a good base for exploring further.

Dana the owner was lovely to deal with and very helpful in answering any questions that we had. You will have a fabulous holiday at this villa!!
