Perfection!
Blue Owl Lodge is one of those places that feels like a real find. The four adults and four kids that comprised our party weren’t really looking for luxury accommodation – all we really needed was someplace spacious, affordable, and not too far from the slopes – and from the information available Blue Owl Lodge seemed perfect. And… it WAS perfect, in every way. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations! It was fabulously comfortable, decadently luxurious (for us), and superbly equipped. It remained warm indoors on the coldest nights, and the hot tub on the view-drenched deck was awesome. The location was ideal: quiet and beautiful, and only a very short car ride was needed to get to the gondola parking – we were glad we didn’t pay three times more for a small ski-in, ski-out condo. Unexpectedly, someone even turned up to plow the drive and shovel the decks after it snowed… a real bonus! I’d thoroughly recommend the house to others; if/when we return to Breck we’ll be returning here for sure!
