Saltaire is best for families. No cars, so your grade-schooler can go from home to day camp to a buddy's house to the beach, etc. all by bicycle. Really an ideal setting for families with children between 5 and 14 years of age.
Saltaire features a large grassy ball field/playground/basketball court complex right in the center of the village which is unique in the area and reflects the town's orientation to families with kids. On weekday mornings, the ball field hosts a day camp, another unique feature which will help your kid find activities and buddies. And then of course there is the spectacular ocean beach, a two-minute bicycle ride from our cottage.
Absolutely no group rentals please.
During August 2008, the cottage is available for one week only (any week during the month).
