This enchanting studio is perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary couple. Celebrate in a special red heart-shaped jacuzzi style tub! The unit overlooks a wading pool and the beautiful turquoise blue ocean. You can hear the whales calling from just off shore when in season. (November - March). A short walk to the coastline. Amenities include a lounging deck next to the pool, a covered lanai with patio table and comfortable chairs, a gas barbecue grill, and inside there is a beautiful pedestal bed with pool and ocean view, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, plates, utensils, wine glasses, TV with cable, DVD and VHS, wireless Internet, local phone calls. There is a separate shower, sink and toilet, plus the honeymoon bathroom spa! This property sits in a rural area on the outskirts of Hawaiian Beaches, just a 1/2 block from the ocean front. The quaint town of Pahoa is a few miles and offers some of the best restaurants on the east side of the island.

This rural area is lush and green. The coastline is unspoiled by hotels and resorts and is mostly lava rock and black sand and beautiful turquoise blue water. During whale season you can see and hear their bellows just off shore. You can view the current lava flows (as Pele allows) about 20 miles from here. Volcano National Park is about 25 miles drive. This side of the island offers numerous waterfall viewings, less than one hour's drive. Pahoa is a quaint, old western town with several shops, banks, small grocery stores and great restaurants. The warm, thermally heated hot ponds are just down the road about 8 miles and you can snorkel at the Waiopae tide pools only about 6 miles. You will see horse ranches, papaya farms and old lava fields, drive through a tunnel of trees and visit Lava Tree Park. Or you might want to visit a local Macadamia Nut Farm or Volcano Winery. There are several golf courses within 30 miles. Hilo with its museums and shops is 30 miles.
