Perfect ending

The description on line was to the t. The cottage had practically everything you needed. The senery was beautiful and relaxing. The boys had a blast with having the boats for use when ever they wanted. We hope to come back again. Only thing missing was a clothes washer, that is the only thing keeping it from being perfectly flawless. Thank you for sharing your piece of tranquility.

I hope you found the little laundromat just four miles up the road in the tiny hamlet of Harmony Grove. It's across the street from the Pizza Parlor.

PERFECT Retreat

I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a girls-weekend for four friends turning 40. I cannot express fully how fantastic our stay was. The cabin was clean and quiet and we were greeted by the caretaker Ronnie, who made us feel welcome from the start.

I was 100% impressed with the communication and professionalism from the owners and was thrilled to arrive and find a personalized note and a bottle of wine to great us. The cabin was stocked with kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker) and the fridge was ready for us to fill up with our supplies. The cleanliness of the cabin was great and there were plenty of extra blankets to keep us comfortable on the cooler nights.

I am excited to plan our next trip!

Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Nice cabin with everything you need to get away from things for awhile. Dave is very accomodating, I left a battery charger there, they mailed it back to me without me even asking! Hot tub is great, if its warm enough to go canoeing around the lake that's also a good time. Deck comes with a big gas grill to cook outside, nice gas fireplace for colder nights. Flat screen with cable & iPod hookups. Groceries take a 10 minute drive but heh, you aren't going there to be right next to a Walmart anyways so just plan ahead:)

What a wonderful cottage to find!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Quietwater Cottage. The cottage is situated on the Wisconsin River. The deck was where we spent most of our time, watching the wildlife and an occasional canoe. It was a grand place to sit after dinner and listen to the Sandhill Crane calling until nightfall. The cottage was well appointed. We found everything we needed. The owners had great suggestions on places to visit, but the cottage would a great place to bring a book and enjoy life on the river.

We hope to return in the not too distant future.

my wife and i were lucky enough to come across this gem as a retreat right after our wedding. our 'minimoon', as it were. it was perfect! many hours were spent on the hammock and in the amazing hot tub. we'll be coming back for our anniversary year after year!
