Country setting within Hot Springs city limits on Stokes Cove provides an ideal location to plan your vacation in the Spa City. January through April provides horse racing leading up to the Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn, and May through October is the time to discover all the great restaurants on Lake Hamilton by boat. Put your boat in at our private launch, or rent a boat or jet ski in the area. A private covered boat slip is available for $10 per day. We feed the fish late in the afternoons, but you are welcome to try and catch a few if you would like. Cast your fishing line from the available bench on the dock pier. Bass, catfish, and bream/perch are common in our part of the lake. Fire up the grill after catching all those fish and enjoy your meal overlooking the lake. Sorry, but we do not allow pets or smoking.

Although my plans were last minute staying here was a breeze. Centrally located in Hot Springs however tucked behind all the traffic on Central Ave. I'll be back.

Great place great people!

This was our first time in Hot Springs...and certain not to be our last! The house was just as described with everything you need except for your clothes and food. The owners Terry and Laura were most gracious hosts. The ability to leave my boat in the covered dock was also really nice....jump in the boat and go! I would recommend this spot very highly to anyone!

Very Enjoyable Stay

We had a very enjoyable family vacation in the red cottage. The place had everything we needed and the kids (two pre-teens) enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. The cottage was clean and well kept, and stores and restaurants were very convenient within a short drive (1-2 miles or so). Terry and Laura were very hospitable "hosts", easily accessible for any questions or concerns we might have, but also very accommodating of our privacy. The kids even got to feed the turtles and the catfish with Laura in the evening. Our stay was a lot of fun and a great value, too. We'd love to come back!

Nice, clean lakeview cottage in a great location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lakeside cottage. It was very clean and had basically everything we needed for our stay (kitchen & bath supplies, tv, and internet access). We grilled out and spent many hours on the porch just soaking up the views of the lake and peacefulness of the area. Even though we felt like we were out in the country, it was surprising close to all the shopping and restaurants. Great location! We only wish it didn't rain the whole weekend so we could've gone fishing off the pier. But maybe next time!

Great Place

Nice lake cabin. Super clean, comfortable and well supplied. Wonderful bedding for some cool nights also. Didn't need anything. So much nicer than spending our 6 week stay in a motel room. Great location, super owners and we truly enjoyed our time spent at Terry and Laura's cabin. We were there mainly for the horse races but also enjoyed watching the activity on the water from the cabin's porch. I was also able to use my laptop which was a real plus. We will definitely try to stay at one of their properties if we are back in the area. Again thanks Terry and Laura for a great stay.
