Enjoy the indoors:
Well equipped, the spacious kitchen has a granite-topped island, and built-in table with upholstered benches in the breakfast nook.
The family sitting room contains lots of comfortable sofas and overstuffed chairs, as well as cushioned bench seating around it's perimeter looking out over Long Pond and the side gardens. As well, a table and seating for games or what you will. Off the spacious dining room, a bar area.
Cable TVs in all bedrooms in the main house, and in the sitting room of the 'lighthouse' cottage.
Air conditioners and fans to dispel humidity, although most enjoy sleeping with the windows open to catch the breezes.
Windows, windows, windows - a profusion of light.
Lots and lots of books to read, DVDs to watch, games to play.
Play Outside:
On Long Pond - kayak, paddle, swim, go fishing. If you have a motor boat, a 9.9 hp engine is the MAX allowed on the pond. (As this is a private little beach, there are no lifeguards, and use of the pond is at visitors own risk.)
Badminton net, racquet's and shuttlecocks are supplied, as is a set of golf clubs and a golf net for practicing.
Two Kayaks and a peddle boat. A big gas grill.
Beach toys, sand shovels and pails, beach balls, life jackets - all here for your enjoyment.
Lawn and beach chairs, a hammock - what else? Look around, see what you find - play.
