Week runs Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 11 a.m. . Deposit of 50% of rental is payable on booking, the balance including refundable damage deposit is due 15 days prior to arrival. Unless prior other arrangements are made, cleaning fees of $400-600. depending upon number of persons and/or pets will be deducted from the refundable damage deposit.
Cancellations: up to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of deposit will be returned within 10 days, with balance of deposit returned IF/when property is rented to another party prior to 7 days before original arrival date.
If pet(s) is/are in party, current rabies inoculation, heartworm & flea/tick medication is necessary, as well as recently trimmed nails. This is for the protection of your pet(s) and your damage deposit.

- Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are located in a large closet in the Master Bath on the upper floor of the Main House. The 'Lighthouse' guest cottage is totally self-contained, having 2 bedrooms, a living room with fireplace and cable television, bathroom with shower, nicely equipped kitchen and French doors leading to a private brick patio facing the pond.

- The spacious master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and two upholstered chaises-lounges, 3 walls of windows view the grounds and the pond. There are two more bedrooms on the upper floor, both of which comfortably accommodate a pair of twin beds with lots of room left over; one has a little nook with a desk and large round ship-type window and access to a deck. The ground floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a comfortable overstuffed chair. All bedrooms have plenty of light and air conditioners. All of the upper floor bedrooms have televisions with cable service. Drawer, shelf and closet space is abundant. The 580 sq. ft. 'lighthouse cottage' cheerfully accommodates 4, and has a nicely equipped kitchen and French doors to a private brick patio.

Enjoy the indoors: Well equipped, the spacious kitchen has a granite-topped island, and built-in table with upholstered benches in the breakfast nook. The Great Room contains lots of comfortable sofas and overstuffed chairs, as well as cushioned bench seating around it's perimeter looking out over Long Pond and the side gardens. As well, a table and seating for games or what you will. The ground floor bedroom, with queen-sized bed and comfortable chair, for staff perhaps, or a guest who does not care to use stairs. Off the spacious dining room, a bar area. Cable TVs in all bedrooms. Air conditioners to dispel humidity, although most enjoy sleeping with the windows open to catch the breeze. Windows, windows, windows - a profusion of light. Lots and lots of books to read, DVDs to watch, games to play.
Play Outside: On Long Pond - kayak, paddle, swim, go fishing. If you have a motor boat, a 9.9 hp engine is the MAX allowed on the pond. Badminton net, racquet's and shuttlecocks are supplied, as is a set of golf clubs and a golf net for practicing. Two Kayaks and a paddle boat as well as the gas grill are to be found in the garage. Beach toys, sand shovels and pails, beach balls, life jackets - all here for your enjoyment. Lawn and beach chairs, a hammock - what else? Look around, see what you find - play.
So much to see and do - some suggestions ...: Provincetown - go on a whale watch boat - find out what AWESOME really means. Chatham - visit the Lighthouse - stroll Main Street - catch a bite at The Chatham Squire, a local favourite. Hyannis - The Melody Tent - live 'Name' performers all summer long - The Cape Cod Mall and Main Street for shopping - Cinemas at the Mall too - and a Merry-Go-Round. Sandwich - The Glass Museum - Heritage Museums and Gardens - an Antique Car Collection, a working Windmill, Art and Military History Musea, wonderful flowering gardens - and a Merry-Go-Round (The Brown Jug gourmet shops are not to be missed - some pate or? and a glass of wine on the patio ... nice, very nice. Ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket - bus tour to Oak Bluffs - an exquisite display of colorful miniature Victorian houses, people's actual summer homes! - and a Merry-Go-Round New Bedford- The Whaling Museum, a fascinating bit of history, then, right next door, Cork, for dinner.
Other Activities: Cape Cod Melody Tent, live theatre, cinemas, restaurants, cafes, parks, all nearby
