Unique property with main house and cottage, opening onto lush outdoor space offering both privacy and intimacy. The allure of this property is two complete spaces (cottage optional), giving family or friends a chance to be together yet independent. The newly renovated main house is both airy and luminous, with Brazilian Koa floors throughout, featuring three bedrooms with access to outside gardens, a top of the line, fully equipped kitchen, and travertine tiled master bath. The open floor plan boasts a step down living room with Colorado stone fireplace, exotic wood mantle and flat screen television with DVD library. The charming guest cottage is two levels with floor to ceiling divided light windows, reminiscent of a historic dance studio. A retro-style kitchen contains an Overland 1930’s stove, breakfast bar, and dining area. A spacious bedroom/living room has a bright, airy ambiance that brings the outdoors in with glass sliders out to bottom level of a terraced patio.

Our house is centrally located to everything S.B. has to offer within 5 minutes or less. Teenagers and adults alike can ride their bikes to shopping, beach, or out for a lunch. Lower Monticeto is a 1/2 mile away on Old Coast Rd. and is often compared to a mini Rodeo Drive. There you will find upscale shops, boutiques, Butterfly Beach and the Four Seasons Hotel. Surrounding you is an array of delicious and talked about restaurants, jewelry store, french bakery, art galleries, banks, grocery stores, P.O. All year round is beautiful here to explore spectacular hikes, biking, walking, zoo, or whatever your choice may be. May-Nov is whale watching. June-Aug. is Festivals at the Music Academy a 1/2 mile away, and the Summer Solstice Parade. We have many famous singers at the Bowl each weekend. The famous Mission is a 10 minute drive as well as the Botanical Gardens which host many workshops throughout the year.

The room with the futon is perfect for teenagers or young children. There are toys and books and a place to get away for a nap or privacy. A double window looks out to fruit trees and flower's.
