The master bedroom suite boasts a king size, 'oh so comfy', bed in a hand crafted log frame, 19'' satellite TV, private master bathroom with his and her sinks, and a stand up shower big enough for 2. Walk out from your master suite to the porch swing on the deck and absorb the enchanting long range views. Bedroom #2 offers a hand crafted log queen size bed with private deck with a picnic table to enjoy brunch, or a cup of coffee while being captivated by the views. Bedroom #3 located on main level, has a twin with twin trundle bed. Enjoy outdoor grilling on the new gas grill as well. The exquisite modern kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steep appliances has everything you need to create that gourmet meal and clean up is a snap with the time saving dishwasher. Beautiful Rustic Cabin with Awesome View

We rented this cabin for a surprise 40th birthday getaway for a friend. We had people coming from Chicago, Washington, even Spain, so ample room was required. There was enough sleeping space for everyone, and the open kitchen and family room layout was perfect for socializing. The cabin is newly constructed and the interior was mostly wood, which we really liked since a lot of new construction has sheet rock walls and does not feel like a cabin. It was very clean and fresh feeling.

The view is amazing - part mountains and part rolling valleys. We had 3" of snow the second day which made the view even more breathtaking. Be forewarned that you get this view by going up a very steep mountain road. You'll need 4 wheel drive if there is heavy snow or ice.

It was a short drive to Boone. It was actually nice to be outside the activity of Boone but close enough to go to a restaurant and go shopping. There is a mini-mart conveniently located about 4 blocks away where you can get basic groceries, except for beer or wine.

The only negatives were: 1) that the gas fireplace was broken, which was disappointing on chilly winter nights; however, I am sure that problem has been fixed by now.
2) It seems more remote in the pictures, but it is actually in a new development and there were cabins on each side about 30-40 feet away.

If you have a group of 12-14 people, this is a great option!

A WONDERFUL place to stay!

This house is fantastic - beautiful, clean, and spacious. I highly recommend staying here. The refrigerator did not seem to get quite cold enough and the showers were not always hot enough (but we had a large group). Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I only wish we had booked more nights there.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
