Nice Stay in Mt. Pleasant

The property was clean and comfortable and all the amenities worked. It was an excellent choice for vacationers taking part in all that Charleston has to offer. Those looking only for the beach may want to stay on one of the islands, but from this townhouse, it is only a 5 - 10 minute drive into downtown. Patriot's point and the amazing Ravenelle bridge (which everyone should walk out on early in the morning... we say dolphins...) are only 4 minutes drive away. The beaches of Sullivan's Island & The Isle of Palms are only a couple miles across the causway. We easily drove out for a pre-dawn turtle patrol walk on the beach!
Danica (the owner) was excellent with her communication and quick to refund our security deposit after the stay!
Charleston Must-Do's: The Hunley - for civil war / history buffs
Ft. Moultrie - again, very cool!
Magnolia Plantation - Beautiful house, amazing gardens, aligators and wildlife galore! Leave about 5-6 hours for this one!
Stickey Fingers BBQ - Right there in Mt. Pleasant... YUM!
The Thomas Elfe house - open for 2 hours on Saturday for tours, this quaint 1700's house is beautiful, it's owner is gracious and has filled the house with incredible antiques. Look it up in the guidebooks!
Folly Beach for a nice public beach experience... but Sullivan's Island is lovely as well! We enjoyed both!
Patriot's Point - offers the best tour of an aircraft carrier I've ever seen! Sub and Destroyer, too! Leave several hours for this one, too!
