Awesome old beach house on Isle of Palms affectionately known as The Big Banana. 1 block to beach. 4 Bedrooms, 3 full baths. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living area, large kitchen and dining area. The upstairs is a separate apartment with living area, kitchen and outside access. There are 2 decks with ocean views. 2 outside showers .You won't be disappointed. Beach house has just been renovated. This rental is Sat to Sat from June until the end of August 2010

This is a wonderful old beach house that has been very popular for the past 8 years with a local realty company. We are offering the property through Homeaway now. The house has just been renovated. This property is only available weekly during the summer season (June - Aug.) One of the very best things about this house is the large kitchen with a very large table to accommodate 8 to 10 people. It is a very short walk to the beach with easy access. I feel it is the best available for the price offered. We know you will love it

We recently stayed at The Big Banana and really enjoyed it. The house is so bright and cheery and very close to the beach. The home was clean and comfortable and everything you would want in a beach house. The seperate apartment upstairs was a great set up for two families renting together. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and with games, beach chairs, and extra blankets. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great value and adorable beach home.
