The Lodge is a large home perched on top of a hill overlooking the entire lake.
The lodge has four bedrooms and four bathrooms with a large deck around the house with unforgettable views of the lake.
Located down a long driveway and situated up off the lake, this property is extremely private with a pool table and sauna, an ideal location for a large group. Sleeps 12 plus.
This property was perfect for our family of 4. The location is to die for, very clean and well maintained. Incredible views and great birding. There were enough screens to take care of mosquitos, but not enough to open up for all bedrooms. For some reason, master bedroom has no cross through breezes because of fixed glass windows.
Owners' staff is fabulous to work with.
We loved our stay.
Once again our stay at the lodge was excellent. Great place to get away and have a great hunting experience.
This lodge served very well for a large family gathering. It is very private, spacious and well appointed. The views of Williams Lake and surrounding mountains are spectacular from this high perch. Maintenance does need improvement, however, particularly the decking and rodent control. The narrow and steep access road is not suitable for RV's, and the walk to the lake is quite long. The lake in July was like pea soup with algae - ok for boating but not for swimming or fishing. Rafting on the Salmon River was quite good.
This was our first rental experience and we were properly spoiled; I have a hard time believing we will have a more pleasant experience next time. Williams Lake is a hidden gem and this lodge has to be the crown jewel. We rented this place with a second family and there was plenty of room for both families to have their own time as well as take advantage of being together in this getaway. The pictures on this site do not do the place or the views justice. You are high on the hill, I recommend spending hours on the deck drinking in the view.
The lodge is setup with great views of both the sunrise and sunset with bay windows and a deck on both both sides of the lodge. It has all the comforts of home minus AC and Internet. Mobile phone service from Williams Lake is more of a dark art than science; calling is very spotty, often non-existent but oddly we were able to send updates and pictures to Facebook keeping all our families up to date which was fun. The rest of Internet from mobile phones is very spotty so it might be that a Facebook employee lives nearby.
The kitchen is big and fully equipped with pots/pans and utensils. We recommended they add a mixing bowl to the kitchen but that was our biggest critique. Even the BBQ outside was setup with coal, lighter fluid and a brand new grill scrubber. There are plenty of towels, sheets, pillow and other home items and washer/dryer work great. The people that take care of the place are very friendly and helpful yet only appear when you need them. There's a path that leads down to the lake for fishing and plenty of hiking and local attractions to keep your family happy. We enjoyed watching bald eagles circle the lake and catch fish as we used the BBQ and just got away from it all.
The furnishings in the lodge are rustic, tasteful and very homey. We loved it and hope to return soon.
