Relaxing, good place to bond, and go at your own pace
Every urban neighborhood has an occasional incident as described on a previous review, but this doesn't seem urban, though close to everything you need. Its relaxing, quiet- flat for walking and biking, never had a problem, there is a University nearby so it's a younger crowd. nice lake nearby with bike paths all around, and so close to walk to several bars, starbucks, walgreens, etc. though I would bike or get a ride if you want to go to the numerous downtown restaurants and bars. -we did walk to the Devil Rays baseball game with no problem. I've stayed there twice for several days and would recommend it for a group of 5-6, and would think about one night cooking in- great kitchen set up...just go to Farmers market downtown and have great cook in around the granite kitchen island or large dining room, seats 8 if i remember. With 5-6 people its less expensive than a motel. If you have a bike I'd recommend bringing it, it's a great way to sight see along the bay.
