My family of 13 rented both the upper and lower units for a family gathering and a '80 Birthday' celebration. Everyone loved the location and found the duplex to be both cozy and comfortable. It was complete with all of the amenities that we needed for a long weekend stay. It is a perfect location only a couple of minutes walk to plenty of shops, local restaurants for all tastes and the Von's super market. Anyone interesting in participating in a local sightseeing of the island can walk within 2 minutes to the tour plaza. Also, The Catalina Island Conservancy for backcountry Jeep tours of the island is only 30 seconds walk away. It is really central to everything! The Golf Cart also added an extra bonus! It really made exploring around Avalon easy and exceptionally fun. We were able to transport luggage to and from the port hassle free. We can highly recommend this rental property. Lastly, the owner Angela was most helpful in answering any questions prior to our visit. So make your booking, pack your bags and get ready to enjoy Catalina with a feel of local hospitality.
My family rented both the upstairs and downstairs for my 30th birthday. Both units were very comfortable and clean. We had 6 adults and one child in the downstairs and 4 adults upstairs. The house is located just a short walk to shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We had so much fun we are making it an annual trip. Having access to the golf cart is really helpful from picking up people and luggage, to grocery shopping and exploring the town. Looking forward to next year!
We rented both units for a gathering of our children and grand children for the second year. The place is comfortable and well stocked. All 13 of us are able to gather on the deck upstairs each evening for dinner and enjoy the weather and the view. Plenty of chaise lounges and chairs. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. You know that you have found the right place when towards the weeks end everyone begins to talk about what they are going to do next year.
We rented both levels and for a celebratory trip for my husband's company, and everyone was very pleased with the home. I have two small kids and we stayed downstairs and the younger couples stayed upstairs and enjoyed the patio at night. The home is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything you might need to make your stay enjoyable. We even enjoyed reading the books and pamphlets left for our use. It was so easy to find and is a minute away from the heart of Avalon so you can get to anything you want. This was my second trip to the island and I will never book a hotel again. Angela was very kind and promptly responded to any needs we had. Wonderful trip overall!
The duplex was perfect for the 8 of us. What was needed was there for us, and having both floors was was awesome. Having the golf cart was priceless. Lots to see and enjoy through out the neatly tucked away homes and streets that go in and around the town.
This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The owner is so easy to work with. The duplex exceeded our expectations. The duplex is light and bright and well decorated. The rooms are large and it has a great "feel" - very comfortable. I would definitely rent again. Great set-up for kids too. Location is perfect so close to everything. Couldn't be better. We have fond memories of this trip and the duplex was a big contributing factor. Perfection.

NOTE: Rates do not include 12% Avalon City Tax and cleaning fee of $120 for upper unit and $130 for lower.
$500.00 deposit to secure reservation.
Balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
