Photos and Description of the Salem vacation mobile home rental
2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, sleeps 6 (one queen and 2 bunk beds)

Waterfront Mobile home on beautiful, clear Lake Keowee. Large grassed yard going to lake and boat dock (you can tie your boat to dock). Carpeted, screened-in deck facing lake. Central air conditioner, microwave, electric stove/oven, stacked washer/dryer, tub/shower, fully furnished (linens, towels, soap, dishes, silverware, etc.) and BBQ gas grill.

No dishwasher, phone, or cable TV. Home is in a residential area of approx. 14 other families on two points, there are no other rentals and owner lives next door to Mobile home. Elevation is 800 ft. 15 miles to NC line and 2200 ft. elevation, 55 min. to Highlands, NC elevation approx. 3800 ft. Lake Keowee is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge/Great Smoky Mtns. Lake is 25 miles long with 388 miles of shoreline. Mobil home is within a mile of the upper end of the lake. Lake Jocasse dam is a mile away north and Lake Hartwell dam is 24 miles south via water. Within CLIFF'S Communities (gated property).

Arrival and Leave Times: Check in time is 3 PM on day of arrival (Check with homeowner (Jerry Nesbitt at cell 864-915-9944 or home 864-944-1977) and if no one is occupying the property before you, you can come earlier.

Check out time is 11 AM on day of departure, but again as stated above if no one is renting the property after you, call and you may get permission to stay later than 11 AM.

Within 1 hour to 1 1/2 hrs, you can visit Cherokee Indian reservation (casino there), Biltmore House in Asheville, historic Hendersonville, Cashiers, Highlands . Western Carolina University all of these are in nearby NC, enjoy activities at Bi-Lo Center (arena activities) and Peace Ctr. (performing arts) in Greenville, SC. Some public golf courses in area. White water rafting.

Other Activities: Sightseeing/Hiking in NC mountains 30-45 minutes away, Atlanta 2hrs, Asheville 1 1/2hrs, Greenville 45 min., Clemson 30 min. Highlands 55min. away.

Notes: For swimming, lake water temperature in the summer is 80-85 degrees making it very comfortable. Lake Keowee is a bass fishing lake. You can put your boat on Lake Keowee at Falls Creek Landing, as it is only 4 miles away. Or put your boat on Lake Jocasse 3 miles away.
