Here is the magic of ordinary days inviting you to linger a while and savor it slowly. A gas fireplace in the living room creates a cozy haven with the quiet arrival of dusk as you browse through the vast DVD movie collection or 100+ stations via HD digital cable on the large screen HDTV. Take a tour of the winery or attend a wine sampling while you are there.

Peaceful Neighborhood: Volcano Golf and Country Club prides itself on keeping a beautiful and safe environment for your family to experience a memorable holiday. The streets are very ample and you are able to go out for a stroll any time of the day or night. Great place to jog, ride bikes or just tour the neighborhood on a long walk. You will love sitting on the lanai at Rooster Cottage in the morning while sipping your hot coffee! Great place to sit for an afternoon glass of Volcano wine!

This is such a great place to stay:
-Right next to the park entrance
-Quiet, comfortable and you can tell that the owner has gone out of her way to make the stay terrific for guests.
-Winery right down the street.

Our family had such a great time here and the owner was so helpful and accomodating. The house was terrific - such a good experience, makes you wonder why anyone would ever stay in a hotel. We will definitely be back.
Owner's Response: We are so pleased that our vacationers found Rooster Cottage to be the BEST place to stay in Volcano. We try to go the extra mile to make this the perfect family destination when visiting Volcano National Park. We love our home and enjoy sharing it with visitors. We look forward to your next visit!

We had the BESTl time ever at Rooster Cottage.
Everything about the home was absolutely PERFECT.
The original artwork, the gourmet equipped
kitchen, the high end bath products, the wonderful
views, the beautiful furnishings, well so many
details... This is now our favorite Volcano vacation
spot. We will keep on coming and send all our
family and friends here too!

We truly enjoyed our stay on New Years Eve 2007 because of the quiet location and wonderful appointments in the home. We loved the kitchen, the flat screen TV and cable access and great dvd collection. Very comfortable and cozy setting for a great vacation beyond our expectations with attention to details. We would gladly return for another vacation.

Volcano Rooster Cottage is a very relaxing, enjoyable
place to stay on the Big Island. Perfect location for
making early morning trips to the latest volcanic
flows. Great cooking facilities and endless DVD
options. We loved it!
