Beautiful Cape Cod house, Perfect for family - Quiet lot at end of dead end road

We visitied this deligthful Cape for the first time week of August 20-27. It was exactly as described - neat and clean, spacious with two fresh new bathrooms and a great deck. We will return next year.

The location is fabulous. Chatham is a beauiful town, picture perfect but with excellent shopping and restaurants too. We enjoyed golfing in Chatham, Kayaking in Orleans, Sightseeing at Provincetown and cycling on the bike trail. We cycled from the house to Wellfleet with a wonderful stop at the PB Pattiserie (simply wonderful). The walk to Cockle Cove is lovely and its a nice beach but the Lighthouse Beach in Chatham (just 3-4 miles) is absolutely wonderful and great for viewing the seals at play. Other beaches along the national seashore were a short drive and also magnificient (Marconi).

Communications with the owner were excellent.

The house was charming. I was ready to move in permanently. The house was beautifully decorated; it was spacious, very clean, and all the necessities.

Located at the end of a dead end street, it was quiet and not commercial. It was about a 1 minute drive to Cockle Cove beach and about a 6 minute drive to Chatham proper.

If you do not want to spend a fortune, but you want a nice house that easily sleeps six, this is the perfect choice.

I am already planning for my stay next year.

Also, the owners were really easy to work with.

We found the cottage to be very clean and comfortable for our family (2 adults/ 3 small children) for a week's stay. The neighborhood is quiet. It's the last house on a dead end street. Side yard has a nice deck w/distant views overlooking creek, but backyard has no privacy. Note no DW in kitchen and all beds are twin. Living areas are a bit small, but worked for us.
