Las Sirenas beach villa is a relaxing and breezy two-story home with 24/7 security in a tranquil gated community with luscious green areas perfect for leisurely walks and bike rides. It has parking spaces for at least 2 cars and is a 5-minute drive from the Fajardo Mall and movie theaters. Within walking distance, there are many restaurants, as well as pharmacies, bakeries, and other specialty stores and businesses. Some of the nearby activities include surfing and windsurfing at nearby La Pared or La Selva, and spectacular snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach villa is only 15 minutes away from the world-famous El Yunque Rainforest and Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve and Lighthouse (which is home to one of the world's last remaining bioluminescent bays). It is a 15-minute drive to the ferries and airport that provide transportation to the offshore islands of Culebra and Vieques and even closer to several horseback riding and ATV facilities.

Adjacent to famous Playa Azul and the Balneario de Luquillo , this two bedroom/two bathroom beach villa is located in the heart of Luquillo. The Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort and the Conquistador Hotel are just 10 and 15 minutes away (respectively) and have great golf courses, full casinos, bars and other amenities and activities. Additionally, the villa is less than an hour drive to the colonial city of San Juan (Old San Juan), with more than 485 years of history; it includes two Spanish forts (El Morro and San Cristobal). Luquillo is proud to have the only beach in the world with access for people with disabilities called 'Mar sin Barreras.'

Amenities: The house is fully furnished and equipped in addition to having: A/C in both bedrooms, 10 ceiling and floor fans throughout the property, stove-top oven, conventional oven, microwave, coffee maker and Italian espresso machine, tea kettle, washer/dryer, Cable TV, DVD, VHS, music system, board games, a selection of paperbacks, Grill/BBQ, lounge hammocks and a full security system with alarm. The L-shaped terrace is very spacious (has an outdoor shower for after the beach or pool) and overlooks a variety of fruit and palm trees. It boasts ample recreational facilities that include a pool, tennis courts, basketball court, full children’s playground and gazebo.

Luquillo Villa....Great Place for a Winter Break

The house is well kept, well planned, very nicely decorated, and every convenience is provided. It is a five minute walk to the beautiful Luquillo beach and a short (10 minute) drive to the Amigo grocery store. The shaded patio was a pleasure for meals and serious leisure. If you have a hankering for night life, San Juan is not that far away and of course El Yunque Rainforest and nature reserves are close by. We highly recommend this villa. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect place for us

Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Big, Beautiful, Quiet back yard. I had breakfast on the terrace every day (awesome). Very comfortable, clean house. The living room/kitchen layout was practical. The corner where the house sits is by far the best of all the other houses there. I had family over to see us. There must have been 10-12 of us in the terrace and everyone was very comfortable.

The furniture and kitchen appliances are adequate. Close to grocery store and Walgreens but I would not walk there. Bed was hard for me; wife had no problems with it. Great to have a washer and dryer. Few neighbors. Very quiet area. The community is private and feels very secure (there is a guard at the gated 24/7). They will charge for the parking pass. We did not use the air conditioning because it was breezy and comfortable. The owner will ask you not to run the A/C all day long.

Beautiful beach is 5 minutes walking distance; very easy walk even with 6 and 4 year olds in tow including toys, blanket, towels etc. We were there March/April and the beach was definitely NOT crowded. A few more folks over the weekend but space (and shade) were not a problem. There is a locked gate to go thru to get to the beach. The key will be in the house. Coming back, there is a shower close to the gate to wash the sand off; good for everyone, great for the kids so they don’t have sand on their toes walking back.

Pool is also walking distance. We share the pool with one other family twice in ten days, otherwise had the pool to ourselves.

The Rainforest (El Yunque) is a short drive away.
Our goal was to visit with family and spend as much time at the beach as possible so I did not try the snorkeling, scuba diving or windsurfing that is described on the website. I saw some people snorkeling at the beach but that was it. We also did all our cooking so I can’t say anything about the local dining.

Owner was very courteous and prompt with responses.

a nice place to relax

The house is in a clean, quiet neighborhood and is simply and adequately appointed. We lived on the lanai - it is large and the furniture on it very comfortable-especially the hammock (and there is an extra that can be hung between trees in the yard)! The beach-about a 5 minute walk- is wide and lovely.
FYI-there are 2 full bathrooms, but one of them is on the lanai.
