My family of five stayed at this property during Christmas break. We had a great time. I initially had a concern about the sleeping accommodations, as we are a family of five, with older children. However that proved to be a non issue. The 2 bedrooms are large and easily accommodated my two daughters, and our son found it very comfortable on the sleeper couch in the living room. (All 3 could have easily stayed in the same room) With two bathrooms, the mornings went very smoothly. There is a wonderful patio with seating, which we often used at night and during the mornings. You have a choice of coffee makers to brew your coffee and sip on the patio in the mornings, which I personally really appreciated. Portable chairs, a cooler, flotation devises and a boogy board, and even an umbrella were made available to you to take to the beach. The kitchen is EXTREMELY well equipped-you can make just about anything your heart desires. The washer and dryer were a very nice bonus. (And thanks for leaving soap!). Grocery stores and pharmacy are just minutes away, and the beach is just about 1-1/ 2 blocks away. The location is very nicely located-the ferry which can take you to some beautiful islands-is just about 15 min away. The rain forest is even closer. On a cloudy day we traveled south (its an island so south and then easterly), exploring, and after having traveled through some very beautiful mountains, found sunshine and a very remote beach, which seemed to be used only by the locals. This too was just about a 30 min drive. I was told by someone that if it is cloudy in Puerto Rico, then just drive a few minutes and you will find some sun. This is truly the case. I prefer this location over San Juan, as you have the opportunity to see various terrain, and can have the night life of the city as well. (There is a very lively strip mall a few minutes north along the beach, which provides you with ample choices of dining opportunities)
The people who own the property are extremely nice, considerate and importantly honest people. We had absolutely no problems. They left a diary near the TV, which previous visitors wrote in, as well as other useful information. We did not find this for a few days, but found it very useful, so look for this information.
Without a doubt, we would return to this location and stay again, as it was an extremely comfortable house, with everything you would expect, but more importantly things you didnt
