Description of the South Haven vacation house rental
1,000 feet of private, shared Lake Michigan beach access via Sunset Shores Subdivision. Large, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with room for all.
This property is ideal for larger groups. You’ll find plenty of on-site parking, large rear-yard, fire-pit, decks, space for the kids to play and privacy for the adults. Located just north of South Haven with golfing and the beach nearby.
While the lake and beach are not visible from the house, runs to the private beach are made easy with a 4-seat golf cart available for renters use. And getting into downtown South Haven or Saugatuck/Douglas is a straight shot down Blue Star Highway.

Located just north of the resort town of South Haven and 10 minutes south of Saugatuck/Douglass. South Haven is a Lake Michigan resort community with numerous public parks and beaches. It is very easy to walk (less than 2 miles from pier head to pier head) with the downtown, beaches and harbor in close proximity.
Beyond the shops and restaurants in South Haven make sure to allocate time for a tour of the Michigan Maritime Museum and a sunset cruise on the historic replica tall ship Friends Goodwill.
Saugatuck/Douglass is an artistic community with numerous shops and restaurants located along the Kalamzoo River. While access to Lake Michigan is limited, the restaurants and shops make this community a definite day trip.
Within the region you'll find numerous working farms with fruit and vegetable stands at various times of the year. Vineyards and wineries are scattered throughout the region. The Michigan Wine trail meanders through the area.
