I love San Francisco, especially North Beach and Telegraph Hill, which has a long history of creativity and bohemian culture. Artists, writers, musicians, and actors have been attracted to this neighborhood since the 1950's. I enjoy sharing the neighborhood and my beautiful, historic apartment with people from all over the world.

All you want and more: amazing place, terrific neighborhood, greatest host!

Forget 5 star hotels! Stay here! To a very spacious, cozy art deco apartment overlooking the bay, add one of the warmest hosts you can find, a well equipped kitchen, separate living room (with grand piano, fireplace, comfy sofas, dining table,...), an additional dining room for 8-10 people, a bedroom with lots of space, a huge desk (perfect, if you are not here only for pleasure), a parking lot in the garage (!), the "blue lagoon" (bathroom), and a perfectly quiet, leafy green neighborhood.

But the very best of all: the huge deck with breathtaking bay views!! Wether in the morning, during the day or at night - this place is like heaven!!! If you're lucky you got visits from the parrots of telegraph hill and also hummingbirds stop by regularly... The place has everything you need to sleep outside (cozy bed, heater) and inhale the stunning bay even during your sleep. We love it!!!!! (And yes, we miss it too!)

We have been so lucky, that we could stay at Cherie's charming place for a couple of month and it makes our time in San Francisco so far to the best in our life - with many, many unforgettable moments at her balcony overviewing Filbert Steps' gardens and the bay. The "cherry of the cake" is actually a Cherie ;) We enjoyed chatting with her so much - she is very kind, hospitable and knowledgable - just an amazing woman! If you need anything, she's there to help you! And Cherie also has the sweetest dog in the world!!

Telegraph Hill is a great, quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, cafés and little shops within walking distance. Also if you want to visit more touristy places like Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown - we were able to go everywhere we wanted by foot.

Cherie's place is our personal "Shangri La" and we never going to stay somewhere else in San Francisco, because now we know about this little piece of paradise. This place is the best! Thank you Cherie for having us!!! We will be back one day!!!

My husband Ray and our 14 yrd old dog Charlie stayed in this condo for 3 weeks and just loved, loved, loved it. The view spectacular!!!!! The walks up and down the hill priceless! The decor in the apt was incredible and we still didnt get to look at everything in the apartment. If you are a music fan this is the place for you!!!! We fell in love with this place and our wonderful neighbors who welcomed us and became our very good friends. Thanks Cherie for a wonderful experience! We hope you will have us again!!!!

Best 6 months of my life!

I rented from Cherie only planning for a three month stay and loved the city and space so much, she allowed me to extend it to six. The location is perfect, the view is phenomenal, and Cherie is caring and prompt. We had a couple of minor things early on in our stay, Cherie took care of it immediately and even traveled down from Glen Ellen to ensure our satisfaction.

The apartment itself is spacious and well furnished. The building has lots of history and it was a trip to watch the movie Dark Passage while staying there (the movie was filmed in the building). The view is the real prize here. The perfect breakfast spot because it overlooks the entire Bay including Berkley, Oakland, and Treasure Island.

The building is located right on top of the Filbert steps for easy access to the Embarcadero. The steps also take you right up to Coit Tower as you would be staying right underneath it! The apartment is literally 2 blocks away from the heart of North Beach/Little Italy and about half a mile from Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.

If you have ever wanted to get an insider's experience of San Francisco, this is the location to do it! I will truly miss calling this place home. If you are hesitant to rent this place, just know that you would be missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime.

We stayed in this apartment in March 2009 and were really pleased we chose this location. Great size apartment, with amazing views of the bay. Add to this what I think is one of the nicest areas in San Francisco and you've got a great vacation. Close to local shops & restaurants and good transport links into downtown areas.

Myself, my partner, & a friend recently spent 7 nights at this special apartment in San Francisco, on Telegraph Hill. It is even better than the owner's description and photographs indicate. The apartment is spacious, clean, & comfortable, with views of The Bay & The Oakland-Bay Bridge. The master bedroom is spacious. The additional bed is in the "sleeping porch" portion of the porch. Our friend loved sleeping in the sleeping porch: it was cozy & warm & had the great view of the bay. The apartment has ample closet space. The kitchen & bathroom are clean & well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Gerard
