All just a 10 minute walk to downtown Nantucket! Only a short walk to other area shops, restaurants and the Surfside bike path.

what you can do WALK / BIKE: If you like to walk like we do this house is perfectly placed. Being on the edge of down town its quite and its a lovely walk past beautiful houses to main street in less then 10 minutes. If you walk the other way you are in more contemporary Nantucket before you know it, supermarket and less formal eateries. Walk in a third direction and you arrive at Francis St beach in 5 minutes. Many restaurants are close by. We are also big bikers and 2 Gardner Perry Lane is in a great place. You can scoot out to Sconset and only have to negotiate half of The Rotary. You can get to the Cliff area and Madaket easily skipping the traffic in town and the dangerous cobblestone streets. We love it and we think you will to.

The House: This is a circa 1920's house that has been completely renovated in 2006. The inside is clean, modern and set up for casual family living. High speed wireless, flat screens, central air, great outdoor areas and decks

We stayed in the house in mid July and was very pleased with the home. The owners are great to deal with and the home was exactly as it was described. Very convenient to Town as well! One of the best Kitchen's I have ever cooked in as well! We will definitely be returning next year!

My party consisted of 7 people in their mid 20's to early 30's and we stayed at this house for Memorial Day weekend 2009. The house is exactly as described and it is well maintained, in great condition and there was plenty of space for all of us. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with various kitchen gadgets and there is a picnic table and a grill outside as well as a patio area with a table and chairs - great for hanging out around the house when you don't feel like going to the beach or into town. The house is in a very convenient location: about a ten minute walk to town in one direction and a ten minute walk to a grocery store, a package store and the Chicken Box in the other direction. The house is also within walking distance to a beach. The owners were very friendly and very easy to deal with. The house is fantastic: we had no complaints and we all agreed that we return. In short, it was a great experience.
