Photos and Description of the East Brady vacation house rental House - 2 Bedrooms - 1 Bath - (Sleeps 4)

This riverfront home is built on a bank overlooking the Allegheny river three miles from the town of East Brady. Enjoy the river from the deck or from your bedroom (you can watch the river without even leaving the master bedroom). The river is so close, you can almost (not quite) cast your fishing line directly off the deck. While surrounded by nature, you also have many of the comforts of home, including high quality furnishings, cable TV, and wireless Internet access. Enjoy the abundant wildlife from the vantage of your deck or your balcony, or sip your morning coffee from the 'crow's nest' lookout, as you watch the fog rise off the river. Bird lovers will enjoy the wide variety of bird life and bird houses and feeders spread throughout the property, and may even be treated to a sighting of our resident bald eagle. House is not suitable for young children due to steep bank without fencing, and house is not child-proofed.

The roof in the bedroom over looking the river leaks, the tub will not drain, the hot water in the shower does not work unless you put it on at the bathroom sink first and above all, the renter broke the contract. Also, the laundry water runs into the river.

The view from the deck is nice, and we got away on a nice quiet weekend on the river. Kitchen is well-equipped for a vacation home. Pool table was fun. Wish the hot tub was filled and working at the time of our stay.

A wonderful four night stay for four old friends. The house is better than described, the view from the deck is grand in the fall, the hosts are great folk... Thank you, Leah Skybird and family.
