Beverly Beach Vacation Rental house

What a beautiful home!...and the view...WOW! We felt like we were at a high class resort. Great location for a relaxing weekend and easy travel to St. Augustine for shopping and sites. House was in great condition. Loved the sun rise from the balcony and walks on the beach. We will definitely be back!!

The ocean front home on Beverly Beach was exactly as advertised. We had 5 adults and 3 children ranging in ages from 2 months to 60 years old in our group and each found the home comfortable and enchanting. A great deal of time and energy went into creating an atmosphere of casual elegance with the decor as well as with the amenities. Each room was decorated in light airy tones with small touches reminding you that you were at the beach. We especially enjoyed all of the written reminders on the wall to relax, and relax we did.

While this is located on a main thoroughfare (A1A), we didn't find the traffic very troublesome. We spent very little time in the front part of the house. With St. Augustine just a short way away to the north and many good seafood restaurants available in Flagler Beach, we could eat out whenever we wanted, but were equally happy to cook in the beautiful kitchen.

The beach, while not what I would call a shell hunter's beach, was interesting, not too crowded and the kids spent hours riding the waves on the provided boogie boards. If we had forgotten items to use at the beach, they were available at the house for our use. The hot tub was a nice change of pace and really the only place our 3 year old grandson could actually go swimming due to the waves on the beach, but he had a fabulous time playing in the tub. Fishing rods, pool table, dolphins in the surf every day, who could ask for more.

This rental was neat and clean when we arrived, the rental agent was very helpful and we had a wonderful time.

The owners quite naturally insist on a security deposit which seemed excessive, but I wanted potential renters to realize not to expect much of that back!! After already paying a cleaning fee, I was charged additional funds out of my security deposit to "clean up" and remove "excess garbage" which could only have meant the food in the refrigerator!! Do not rent if you are disabled as there are tons of stairs just to get to the front door that are steep and nearly impossible with large suitcases to negotiate. The view is incredible and the appliances are top-of-the-line, but you as the renter are buying them at these prices.
