We stayed for 2 nights the last week of Aug & we absolutely loved it here! It looks just like the pictures but even better. The apt was so clean when we arrived & I've never had views like this from any hotel I've ever stayed at in NYC. And staying in an apt was so much better than a hotel. We really felt like New Yorkers! I can't wait to go back. The view is absolutely breathtaking by day or night!!
Amazing, comfortable and a very clean apartments, it's exactly what you see in the images.
The owner was very friendly and helpful
you will be impressed, it's fully equipped just like your home.
I would highly recommend it..
We rented this place with another couple for our trip to NYC and couldn't have been happier. The condo is even be nicer in person than the pictures (and the pictures were awesome!) . The views were unbelievable!!! The private terrace was a major perk! It was huge and all ours. Vaj and Aya were wonderful. We loved everything about this place and have already recommended it to several other friends. We cannot wait to make it back and if this place is available, we will be staying here for sure!
The apartment was wonderful. I brought my family of four to NY for Christmas. We have two teenaged daughters who wanted to visit NYC and this turned out to be the perfect place to stay.. When we arrived the place was immaculate and they had left us a bottle of wine and water as well as cookies. The owners were out of town, but they had someone meet us and I spoke with the owners by phone and text. They were very helpful in giving us recommendation as to where to shop and get dinner.
The place has all of the amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, coffee, dishes, etc. Given the high quality of everything, you can tell the owners really care. We spent the week really enjoy all of the things the NYC has to offer. This place provided a great base to do it from.
This was my second stay with Vasra and Ayaka, and I could not ask for better hosts. They responded promptly to inquiries, met us upon arrival to help us with bags, and generously answered questions/gave directions during our stay.
The lovely apartment I stayed in last time could only be topped by this amazing penthouse; which is pure perfection. We opened the door and our eyes were immediately drawn to the wall of windows. The view is incredible - truly "mesmerizing!" No tall buildings near you allow for a wide vista, including the Empire State Building and the Hudson River. Gazing at the view was the last thing we did each night, and the first thing each morning. Our first night, we chose to leave the blinds open in the bedroom so we could go to sleep looking at the sparkling city, and wake to sunrise through the tall buildings of midtown Manhattan. The apartment itself, and it's magnificent view, will be a main attraction of your visit.
The apartment is in impeccable condition. The floors are an incredible dark hardwood, the cabinetry is clean and topped by beautiful granite, and the walls are freshly painted. The kitchen is well stocked, nice dinnerware, tea/coffee and other basics are provided.
Having two bathrooms is a real treat (no one wants to share with a teenager), and everything functioned perfectly. There is plenty of hot water, great shower heads, strong water pressure, high-quality fluffy towels, and even adequate storage, rods and hooks in the bathrooms. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer are provided.
The master bedroom has an extremely comfortable king mattress with crisp white linens, and a nice big dresser (It feels more like home when you can unpack all your things). Our daughter (age 16) said the bed in the second bedroom is comfy and the closet is HUGE!!
I've rented many vacation homes, and I've never been in one that is so perfectly cleaned. Every surface is spotless, the floor didn't have a speck of dust on it, and the linens and towels were new, fresh, and well maintained. Upholstery is clean, new and without stain or wear. Perfect.
The building is contemporary style and well maintained. Once Vas showed us inside, the doorman didn't ask us anything. We just smiled and said "hello" as we passed by. No problem.
The cafe across the street has amazing pastry, good breakfast, and really great coffee.
You will count your blessings for having found this condo. It is spectacular.
What a wonderful experience we had at this amazing penthouse apartment in New York. Living like a real New Yorker with room to spread out and relax in between explorations of the city was a wonderful experience. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and greeted us in person. When we needed advice on the cable TV stations, they responded immediately.
The apartment has the most incredible view of the city imaginable and we were able to enjoy the lovely weather and view from a terrace so big it was hard to believe we had it all to ourselves. Everything in the apartment is fresh and new and it was stocked with all we might need, from extra towels to coffee and tea. The neighborhood is convenient to all parts of the city and we loved the abundant wine bars and bakeries-especially Ardesia, the wine bar just downstairs that offers a well thought out wine and beer list plus some delicious snacks. The French bakery across the street is chic and comfortable, with delicious meals and authentic French pastries. All in all, we find this apartment was our favorite in the city. I recommend it highly!
