If you are looking for a private vacation where you can watch the beautiful sunsets, listen to the call of the loons, watch the eagles flying over head, swim in crystal clean water, enjoy great fishing or maybe even a little water skiing all right out your back door. Then this is where you need to be!!!! Home has 150’ of sandy beach frontage on a 102 acre lake. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths it is almost as if each bedroom is a master suite. Only 1 mile from the Chippewa river, located between Ladysmith and Hayward.

Fishing: Lake Notes: Clear, clean sandy bottom lake. Specializing in Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and Panfish. Muskie and Smallmouth Bass also caught. House only 1 mile from the Chippewa river boat launch.

Walk out the door directly to the lake and private beach.

My mother and I stayed several days at this wonderful house. We've been renting different places for years and this was, by far, the most economical, cleanest and well furnished place that we've ever stayed at! The house, grounds and furniture were all in excellent shape! The lake is great for fishing, boating, paddle boating and swimming. My elderly Golden Retriever swam every day and my Shetland Sheepdog puppy loved the yard for running and playing. It was peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for; however, there are several 'tourist' towns within 50 miles if you want to go out for the day or find a tasty restaurant. We especially enjoyed listening to the loons and watching the local geese family on the lake. The sunsets are also amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Windfall Lake retreat and plan on visiting it again in the future!

The property is very nice. We didn't have any problems or disappointments. The lake and beach were nice. You can't see the beach very good in the pictures with the description, but it extends out from the water about 10 ft with sand and pebbles. The water does not drop off rapidly, we were able to swim with the kids just fine.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
