OCEAN BEACHFRONT VIEW Dramatic Ocean And Bay Vistas Only 15 Steps From Beach

I highly recommend this property. It is everything as shown in the pictures and then lots more. It is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The owners were responsive and informative to our needs. Bethany Beach, DE is the perfect family beach location--very quiet, no crowds. Yet, Rehoboth Beach is close by for great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The artfully-decorated house has all the amenities you could want, including a fully-stocked kitchen. I can't think of anything it doesn't have. It has wonderful bay and/or ocean views that can be enjoyed from 3 separate decks! It is steps away from the ocean, and has a large outdoor shower. The house is so pleasant that we didn't mind staying in on rainy days. I'm ready to go back!

We stayed here for a week with our 1 year old son and extended family. The house is clean and spacious and looks exactly like the pictures. The large living room/kitchen area is great for everyone to be together, and the bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is the house has 4 floors so there were a lot of stairs. We spent a lot of time up in the Crow's Nest or out on the deck both which featured beautiful ocean views.
The property is in a quiet neighborhood located about 4-5 miles from the boardwalk which offers cute shops, restaurants and ice cream. There are supermarkets, CVS/Walgreens, golf courses, liquor stores and restaurants, all within a 5 minute drive. DeFiebo's Restaurant on Route 26 offered great Italian food, and The Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth were perfect for the one rainy day we encountered.
The house is located steps to the beach making it easy to travel back and forth with a baby and was never too crowded. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We found the owner to be very accomodating and helpful, and look forward to coming back here next summer.

The Great:
Location to beach (just over a dune), the owner (very responsive and helpful with info. before and during our trip), the space (perfect for 10 people), the water (calmer and warmer than the Jersey Shore), Harris Teeter Grocery Store (within a mile of house), the views of the ocean AND bay (especially up at the Crows Nest!), the beach equipment (plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys for the kids), full size washer and dryer, a reasonable price during peak season and lots of dolphins to watch! Ample parking for our 3 cars. We really loved staying at this house for the week!

The Good:
Outdoor shower , line to hang up towels to dry, plenty of places to eat (however many of them served average food), linen service was timely.

The Bad:
Linen Service : Delivered cheap towels that not only shed all over everything, but the bath towels weren't large enough to fit over a grown man's body.
Cleaning Service: The house was poorly cleaned when we arrived. Looked like there was a dog staying prior to our visit (hair), and the kitchen really needed another cleaning when we arrived.

Some Things to Consider
This is a 3-level house, thus there are lots of stairs. Not a problem for us...but would not be a good choice for people that have challenges walking up/down stairs to the different levels of this house and balconies.

Private Beach: No lifeguards. Water was calm during our stay and our kids were ages 7-10, but some parents may be more comfortable staying somewhere near lifeguarded beaches.
