Tahoe Sooo Comfortable...You May Never Want to Leave!!!

We have never been so surprised when arriving at our home away from home. What we saw when we entered this "cabin", left all of us with our mouths wide open, at the same time looking for a phone to call the owner, Cheryl, to make sure we were in the right place. When we were choosing the perfect vacation rental to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, all we had to go on were the photos. Photos, that in our experience of renting private homes in the past, seem to taken of the home down the street. Those people that rent private homes know what I mean. You arrive expecting to see the home depicted in photos and what you find is, well something far less desirable.
The photos that are used to depict this cabin DO NOT even come close to capturing it's true beauty. We walked around for an hour taking in all of the wonders inside this cabin, with the only word being said...WOW. By the time we got to the outside decks, we were speechless.
The owner has went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of this cabin is perfect. Every door has a hand carved design, the antique light fixtures actually still use gas instead of light bulbs, the marble work in each bathroom is 5 star. I could go on and on about this cabin, which by the way, is like a page out of Better Homes and Gardens, instead of a cabin.
Do yourself a favor and experience this home. There is no way you will be disappointed. Cheryl, the Owner, was the perfect hostess, even though we never meant her. By making her home so warm and inviting, we have no doubt she must be a grand lady and we lifted our glasses to her several times as we soaked in the hot tub.
We are presently making plans to return to the Tahoe area, for the Shakespeare Festival and we will not even consider staying anywhere else except this little cabin in the woods.
Thank you Cheryl for creating a home away from home, that far exceeds any we have stayed in. Your place is truly head and shoulders above the rest.

The house lay out was very nice. Horrible kitchen pots, pans and knifes. Very low end to begin with and not well cared for. Internet access hacked from neighbors per the owner. During my stay I wasn't able to connect and owner did not follow up with resolving issue. I did not receive my full refund for invalid reasons. Taking issues to Better Business Bureau for resolution. My refund took 32 days to receive.

Gorgeous home! Our group (5 adults, 3 kids) fit comfortably in this spacious home. Many homes in the area to choose from, this was, by far, the BEST! The hot tub was great and the kids loved the little play area for dress-up and games. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We will definately be back!
