Ours is a classic summer place located on the rocky coast of Narragansett Bay only 15 minutes across the Jamestown Bridge from Newport. It is both quiet and secluded. The private bathhouse with its outdoor shower and terrace is perfect for sun bathing, outdoor dining, a cup of coffee in the morning, moonlit swims or simply watching the boats sail by. The private dock is perfect for swimming and fishing. The property also features a perennial border, babbling brook, lily pond, bunnies, fireflies and fabulous birds.

The elegant living room, sun porch, porch, dinning room and three of the bedrooms all have fabulous views of the bay. The kitchen area includes washer/dryer/gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, cuisine art, coffeemaker and toaster oven. The study has cable TV, high speed internet, printer, DVD player and fax machine. The house has Wi-fi, two fireplaces, a piano, backgammon, and plenty of good books.

And in 5 minutes you can be enjoying Jamestown with its lovely little village, low-key shops and restaurants. Or spend an afternoon driving on its scenic rural roads taking in its farms, anchorages, lighthouses, and windmill.
