FRIDAY to FRIDAY Rental -RENOVATED AND ON THE OCEAN. The sights and sounds of the majestic Atlantic Ocean are outside the door! Open the windows! You can not get closer to the water! This wonderful 1951 Cape is on great family street in Haven Beach, Long Beach Island. As of '08 renovation- there are spectacular panoramic views from every room on the 2nd floor. 1st floor views are obstructed by 60 year old dunes. 1st Floor: Dining Room/Living Room, 70's kitchen, porch, laundry, 2 BR's, and full bath. 2nd Floor: Master Bedroom, new family room, twin beds alcove & full bath, all with outstanding views and constant breezes! Private side yard, sandy front yard w/umbrella seating- good for games, barbecuing, sunbathing or baby pools. Two flat screen TVs, wireless Internet access, air conditioning units (rarely needed due to ocean breezes), outside sun shower, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, dishwasher, gas grill.

Long Beach Island is throw back to the 1950's...not the typcial 'Jersey Shore' as there are no fast food chains, no high rises, no spring-breakers. It's a 'Family Island' with emphasis on BEACH fun but with loads of family entertainment; Bay Village, a family amusement park, waterslide park, shopping, LBI Museum, fishing, crabiing, bike riding, boating, parasailing, surf shops, boutiques, art festivals and several antique shops ...and a safe haven away from everyday life. There are great restaurants with a selection of Italian, French, Japanese and several terrific seafood restaurants. Kids are welcome everywhere. Of course being ON the ocean in a comfortable and charming 'cottage' makes your stay very special! At the end of our street is a popular LBI watering hole Nardi's, offering great 70's & 80's live music every weekend during the summer months and occasionally in the fall.

FIRST FLOOR: Front Bedroom -Yellow- Twin beds with the ocean 200 feet away...with closet and set of drawers. Back Bedroom- BLUE- Twin beds facing west small closet and set of drawers.

Notes: As former renters for over 30 years we now have our own home to offer people as their vacation home! Historically on LBI, it is commonplace for tenants to bring their own bed linens, towels, and food supplies. Upon your arrival there will be basic supplies (spices, tp, paper towels, etc.) that allows you to get through the first couple days. (If linens are needed they are available at a minimum charge.) It is very unusual to have an original 1950's home on the ocean. Most older, ocean front homes have been torn down and replaced by very large homes, with very high rental rates-if they rent. This is a charming, pine paneled 1951 Cape with very comfortable furnishings, definitely, one of a kind! It is perfect for a fun and memorable family vacation. We have a maintenance man on hand to fix any problems that may occur. We have cable TV and high speed wireless internet.
