Mee Too Lodge is a fully furnished, three-bedroom, 2400 sq. ft. vacation home which is situated in the Sand Lake area on the shore of Big Island Lake and is just 15 minutes from Tawas City and Lake Huron. Mee Too Lodge offers year ‘round accommodations for families, couples or sportsmen. Amenities abound with 150 feet of private sandy beachfront, private dock, fire pit by beach area and two large decks over looking the lake. It is a great vacation area for family and friends with nearby golf courses, horseback riding, the AuSable and Rifle Rivers, Lake Huron and Huron National Forest. Mee Too Lodge is a home away from home which has queen size beds in the three bedrooms, two full baths and two half baths and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Also there is a den with a fold out full sofa bed and cable TV. The large great room has a brick fireplace with an additional dining area. Upstairs in the loft there is a sitting area with cable TV.

Mee Too Lodge is in the Sand Lakes area, 10 miles west of Tawas City, MI, surrounded by the Huron National Forest, near the famous Au Sable River with world class trout fishing. We are 10 miles from Lake Huron with it's outstanding salmon, walleye and perch fishing, and adjacent to superb bird watching habitat. Miles of beautiful, pristine forest hiking, cross country skiing and ATV trails abound in the area.

  • Security deposit of $700.00 in advance required of first time renters
  • The Lodge has been in operation as a rental property for over 9 years. Security deposit will be refunded within 14 days pending a check-out inspection by the owners.
  • Rental rate includes a boat without motor. Peak season is for weekly rental only. Please feel free to contact us for off season weekend rates. Off season is wonderful for hunting and bird watching. Please note: Major bird watching is in May, with the Kirkland Warbler being a major attraction in the area. Presently, we are enjoying the loon migration coming through our lake and surrounding area.

Me Too Lodge -- GREAT Vacation spot

The Me Too Lodge is a wonderful place to vacation! We spent a great week there and want to return next year. The house is amazing, the lake is beautiful and there is alot to do in the area such as the beautiful Rifle River area, shopping in East Tawas, the Valley Mist winery in Rose City, Chefs Table restaurant (around the corner from Mee-Too Lodge) and bike paths to make for a fun week. There are also fish to catch on Big Island lake! Thanks for sharing this wonderful spot!

Terrific Tawas Getaway

A beaufitul lodge to getaway and unwind. The lake views are stunning and the lodge is very comfortable. Our family has been vacationing at the Mee Too Lodge for years now and love it. It is relaxing and fun. Great beach, wonderful decks and the volleyball court is new and awesome! There is great bicycling nearby and it is only a few minutes to town. Highly reccommended.

An Amazing Getaway!!

My family and I have been repeat guests at the Mee Too Lodge, and every year is more amazing than the last! Its more like going home than going on a vacation, and the owners almost seem like family now! I cannot imagine vacationing anywhere else. The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, there are plenty of things to do for any age - fishing, swimming, volleyball, BBQing on the decks, the list is endless! I would recommend a stay at the Mee Too Lodge any day of the week!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The weather was perfect for the whole week. The accomadations and all the amenities suited our group to a Tee! The views from the house and the two decks were fantastic, especially during the great sunsets!
We would definitely recommend this to all of our frends and anyone looking for a excellent vacation!
