Fall Foliage Season: The best time to see the foliage is in mid to late October. Nearby Jim Thorpe offers train rides through the Lehigh Gorge to see the beautiful leaves along with numerous shops with specialty items.
Nearby Ski Resorts: Check out the best skiing in the Poconos. Blue Mountain Ski Area and Big Boulder / Jack Frost Ski areas are less than 30 minutes from the house. You can also visit Camelback Ski Area and Shawnee Ski Area that are less than one hour away.
