A wonderful place for family and friends to gather. The kitchen, eating area and livingroom are in an open floor plan while the TV room, dining room, and bedrooms are nicely separated. This is a 3 year old home with upscale amenities including hand troweled plaster walls, plank wood floors, high ceilings throughout, wood vigas in the living room, granite counter tops in the kitchen and Jenn-Air appliances. The home is 3 bedrooms and three full baths plus an attached one bedroom, one bath, guest house. There is a large portal for relaxing and entertaining that we call our outdoor living room. It is complete with a fireplace, barbeque grill, and panoramic vistas of the Sangre de Cristos and Jemez Mountains. Situated for privacy on 1.25 acres, the house feels rural yet is 10 minutes from the Plaza. In fact, that's what people seemed to really enjoy the most; easily popping into town and then having this lovely space to come back to, to breathe and enjoy the openness.

Yet, most people come for the light, the clear vibrant colors of the sky and the unending sunshine.

A Perfect Place to Stay!

Five old friends came to New Mexico for the first time, and we couldn't have found a more comfortable place to stay. There was plenty of space to spread out. Even when two sons and a family visited for several days, we were not crowded. The location was perfectly situated between Albuquerque and Taos, and only minutes to the Santa Fe Plaza and downtown. One great feature was the train, "The Rail Runner", running every day between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, it was inexpensive and fast. The view from the back patio was amazing, looking at the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the distance was outstanding. The amenities of the house were all that we could ask for - a complete kitchen; 3 TV's; privacy; and an outside fireplace to roast marshmallows. The owner was there to welcome us upon our arrival and made us feel at home immediately. We will have great memories of this vacation for years to come!

Exceeded Expectations

A weeklong stay in this beautiful home helped make a family vacation perfect! This home is conveniently located to all local attractions and a quick shot to the major highway roads. We laughed each time we entered a new address into the GPS and without fail, it was always 10 minutes away! We spent the majority of our days out and about and then retreated back to the house for cooking and relaxing. The back portal made for many memorable nights! There was plenty of space in the home and outside the home to comfortably fit 7 adults. An added bonus was that every couple had their own bathroom! I would highly recommend this vacation rental. Terre is a pleasure to work with. If we ever end up vacationing in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area again, we know where we will stay!

Privacy, elegance and delight in Santa Fe

Having searched the internet for bedrooms enough for our family of 7, we were blown away with what we had rented: large spaces, privacy, excellent environment, and a kitchen fully equipped meeting cooking son's high standards. Plaza, art galleries, pueblos, mountains, museums are all within easy access. By car, all was within 10 minutes. This house was the base for a most memorable vacation. Highly recommended!
