Upstairs Beach Cottage - 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s) - 1 Bath - (Sleeps 4-5)

Enjoy the sound of the surf and the cool ocean breezes from this cozy ocean view beach cottage located just a short walk to the beautiful Del Mar beaches! The cottage is conveniently located next to the Village of Del Mar with a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as the world famous Del Mar race track. The race track grounds are host to many other events during the summer including live concerts and the always exciting Del Mar County Fair. Enjoy the warm summer breezes and ocean views from the large private outdoor patio which features an outdoor grill and a full outdoor dining and sitting area. Inside, the spacious living room features plenty of seating area, a TV with cable, and high speed wireless Internet. Watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean while eating dinner at the 4 person ocean view dining room table. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds and access to the ocean view outdoor patio.

Overall a nice stay, in spite of bad weather. Nice view from the deck, can hear the ocean. Clean. Calm and quiet residential area. Stocked kitchen with pots and pans, but no condiments/oil, etc. Close enough to all the San Diego attractions. Would suggest two things -- please fix the front door lock, took a while to get the hang of it (by then, we were leaving). Also you shouldn't have to switch the input connectors on the back of the TV to switch between cable and DVD.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
