Mexico Beach is a quiet beach town located 30 minutes east of Panama City and 30 minutes West of St. George Island. It is a great place any time of the year to just chill-out with your favorite book or pursue any of the many recreational activities the area has to offer. The seafood here is some of the best in the world with several restaurants to choose from. Across the street you can select fresh seafood daily, browse the shell market, or charter a boat for the day. And the public pier is only a block away if you care to catch your own. Be sure to check the local calendars if you’d like to schedule your trip around any of the annual festivals. There is plenty to do and see here. Just a short drive will take you to the beautiful State Park Beaches at Cape San Blas, St.Vincent, and St.George Island. Additionally, Panama City Beach and Apalachicola are within a 30-minute drive.
