Beach Front Condo! Welcome to our NEW condo at the Gulf Shores Plantation! This is a family-friendly resort. The gated 40 acre resort offers 5000 feet of private beach on the Gulf of Mexico, six outdoor swimming pools, a large indoor heated pool with sauna, steam room, hot tubs and exercise room. Several tennis and volley ball courts, putting greens and game rooms for children and barbecue facilities are all included! Kiva Dunes 18 hole golf course is just a few steps away. Fishing is great either directly in the Gulf or across the street in the Mobile Bay. Our 2 bed/2bath condo is situated on the second floor in building 3 EAST; located on Fort Morgan Road in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Activities are available on-site for every age group, and the Plantation is perfect for family getaways. Remember when planning your destination we are located convenient to both Pensacola and Mobile Airports. It is right next to the large pool!

Outside the resort you can visit Fort Morgan historic site (10 miles) or visit the tourist attractions, restaurants, amusement parks in Gulf Shores 12 miles away. Few hints: Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA water park, The Track Amusement Park, Pirate's Island Putt Putt Golf, shopping at Tanger Outlet, The Wharf's 112' Ferris Wheel, Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, or Dauphin Island Bird Sanctuaries (by ferry). You may also visit the Casinos in Biloxi or go to Pensacola for an air show with The Blue Angels…and many, many others.

Great Couples Weekend!

The condo was perfect for our couples weekend! The owners description is completely accurate. Right on the beach and a great pool right by the building. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. We had everything we needed for a great weekend! We really enjoyed the private beach and the laid back atmosphere of the resort. Resort staff and beach attendants were very helpful and friendly. Also, the reservation and transaction process with the owner was a breeze! I hope we can stay here again soon!!

Gulf Shores Plantation

Despite the rainy weather, we were extremely pleased at the resort. I can see this as being a place worth returning to at any time of year. The condo was well equipped and in clean condition. The cost was better than we expected. The beach will definitely be wonderful in the summer time and with the nearest resort being a long way off, the crowds should be only moderate. The only drawback I saw, if you would call it that is having no large stores nearby. It doesn't bother me, but it is a good idea to bring a good grocery supply with you.

Weekend Vacation

We loved this condo. We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation and that's exactly what we found. The condo is located away from the usual noise of a tourist town but only a short drive from restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops and lots of fun places like Adventure Island, The Track and Waterville. The decor inside the condo was a clean, crisp ocean/beach theme that really puts you in the mood to walk on the beautiful, white beach that you can see from the balcony. The indoor pool was nice and warm so we were still able to swim even though it was winter. When the kids got too tired to eat out we were able to just cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The owner provided us with all of the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We are looking forward to staying in this condo for a longer vacation soon!

There is not enough room here for me to tell you how i feel about The Plantation Resort nor this condo. Both are very clean, they are very conscious of the visitors, quite, calm, atmosphere. The condo was very spacous and comfortable. The security staff are very well occupied to aid you if you should have a problem. I just can't say enough about this place. We WILL be staying there again SOON. Hey! we stay at The Plantation Resort every year. Fort Morgan is not far from there nor is Bay fishing. If you are feeling a little adventurous one day try going down the down to Fort Morgan. ...Then coming back & relax in the comforts of home...

Very FAMILY oriented, away from college kid vacations! This condo is wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The owner is extremely nice and the layout and decorations are tastefully done! It was also VERY convenient to have a washer/dryer in our condo. We have 2 small children and a teenager and with all of the amenities, EVERYONE was satisfied! We will DEFINITELY be back next summer! Thank You!
