Ski Belleayre and Plattekille, both only 15 minutes from this lovely vacation home which sleeps 8 in 4 very comfortable bedrooms, 2 with queen size beds, 2 with double twins. Cable and wifi throughout. Enter the house through the main room, a very comfortable, large, high ceilinged full kitchen/living room/dining room/fireplace combo, great for entertaining or just relaxing. Separate family/television room pond view. One bedroom with private powder room on first floor, three bedrooms upstairs. Two full baths. Plenty of privacy yet minutes to hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, antiquing and great restaurants. Wraparound deck with a barbecue (charcoal) at your disposal. A true wonderland for kids of all ages, guaranteed. Take the perfect family ski vacation. 2 1/2 hours from NYC.

20 secluded acres halfway between Roxbury and Margaretville with a spectacular stocked swimming pond. Minutes to golf, hiking, horseback riding, restaurants. 45 minutes to Woodstock, NY, very close to Bellaiyre Ski Center which hosts a music festival all summer. The Roxbury Arts Group also hosts concerts and wonderful events.

Notes: Well behaved dogs are permitted, no other pets are (sorry, no cats at all). This is a non smoking house. There is no need for air conditioners, the house stays very cool. There are plenty of fans.
