Photos and Description of the Lake Algonquin vacation cottage rental

During late spring, early fall and all summer dock will be in and you will have use of our 2 person kayak. Located in the southern Adirondacks on Lake Algonquin in Wells, NY. One hour from Saratoga, 1.5 from Albany, 4 hours from NYC. This is a QUIET and gorgeous lake surrounded by mountains, very scenic. This is our family home on the lake with 2 bedrooms that have 2 double beds - sleeps 4 maximum. Fireplace, gas grill, full kitchen, outdoor firepit by lake, dock and kayak for warmer weather. Great waterfalls to hike to. We will share all the local scoop. Winter- there is great skiing (Gore or Oak Mt), terrific xcountry (Lapland Lake or Garnett Hill or across the lake or thru the woods!). Lots of snowmobiling and winter hikes in the area.
