Perfect vacation spot

We spent three weeks at this condo and loved it! Over the past twenty-five years we have stayed at many houses on the North Shore and condos in Waikiki and this measures up in every way. The condo itself has a pleasant décor and the kitchen equipment exceeds satisfactory. It is very clean and comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The entire complex is well maintained and the resident property manager is there to help with any problems.
The beach is among the best in Hawaii with a sandy bottom and offshore reef- perfect for swimming, snorkeling and other water sports, while being safe enough for children and inexperienced swimmers (in the winter the surf is higher and the lazy, calm of summer gives way to the excitement of surfing competitions). Just a short distance away sea turtles bask on the beach. Another plus is that there is shade! You can sit on the beach in the sun or move into the shade sitting on the sand or on the grass under the trees that line the front building. There are also picnic tables and a barbeque area for you to use.
Location, location, location. We love Haleiwa and this condo is only a short distance from town where there are restaurants and shopping. The best thing is that the closest you get to a chain store is the Ace Hardware store. Malama’s Market has a great take out counter, as well as a full grocery store and wine and spirits section. We ate at Haleiwa Joe’s, a fun place right on the water, and Jameson’s, known for its great local seafood. Both of these restaurants are popular with locals and tourists alike, and can get crowded. Jameson’s takes reservations, Haleiwa Joe’s does not. At sunset both become very busy, as they are prime spots for a romantic sunset dinner. Since you have the best place to view the sunset on the lanai at the condo you can easily plan around the crowds. While in Haleiwa you must have shave ice. We usually go to both Aoki’s and Matsumoto’s and try to determine which is better - you decide. Should you want to leave Haleiwa and explore Oahu, you are only a short distance from the Kamemeha Highway that goes all around the island, or the major highways that go to Honolulu, Waikiki and across the island.
This condo is perfect for the vacationer looking for a quiet spot to unwind and experience life in Hawaii. There are no frills, concierge, or other tourist services. There is great beauty, tranquility, and a beach so good you may never leave the grounds!
