Cloverleaf lakes are located in central Wisconsin. 2 and 1/2 hour drive from Milwaukee, 35 minutes from the Appleton area and 45 minutes from Green Bay.
The lakes are very clean and the fishing and boating are fantastic. There's a public sand beach for swimming and the lake association has a no wake time before 10AM and again after 6PM. Water ski and jet ski all day and enjoy quiet fishing times in the early morning and evening.
Three taverns are on the lake all with great food, a supper club is also located on the lake and it too has a great full course menu and bar area. The cottages are all on city sewer system making the lakes very clean. Three lakes are connected for a total of 235 acres. There's a variety of fish including Muskie, Northern, Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and Sunfish. Our fire pit is by the water and firewood is provided. The large wrap around deck has a patio table with seating for 6 and extra chairs for a total of seating 10 people. We also have a pontoon boat available to our guest's. Please check with us for availability and rates.
Great Place to stay! The A-frame is lovely and decorated nicely. Mike and Patti have everything you need...even the phone number for the vet. There is plenty of seating in the living room, games to play and movies to watch (on the rainy days). We stayed Labor Day weekend and we had a great time. The lake is nice and we had a great time fishing and just relaxing on the boat. Dogs enjoyed the yard and boat too!
An absolutely perfect cottage for relaxing with family, lots to do around the inside and outside, shed full of outside activities for kids and games for the rainy days inside. We did our Thanksgiving Dinner here with other family members from the area and it could not have worked out better, not one issue. I was able to keep the kids happy and out of the way easily while cooking. I brought my own baby gate for in order to keep my 11 month old off the steps. Just an amazing stay provided by amazing, caring people. Tahnk you Mike and Patty- we will be back for sure!
We stayed 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was clean and well kept. We loved the beautiful deck/wrap around porch. The kids enjoyed canoeing and also used the pedal boat. We caught small fish off the pier. The bonfire pit was great and the owner provided plenty of firewood. One disappointment was that there was no Wi-Fi which was advertised as being included and only basic cable. I did not like how close we were to the other cottages and you seemed to share a common backyard with several cottages. Although the neighbors were friendly, I would have appreciated a little more privacy. We brought our two little cavalier dogs with us and they loved the surroundings and settled right in. Overall it was a nice weekend.
Thank you Mike and Patty for another wonderful year at your cottage. It had everything that my family and I needed for a relaxing vacation. The views are fantastic and the weather was perfect. We are already talking about coming back again next year. Thanks again.
Our family and friends - 8 total stayed the week of 7/16/11 - 7/23/11. We had a great time, Mike and Patti were great hosts. They made sure we got settled in and checked on us later in the week to see if we had any problems or questions. The wrap around deck and fire pit was our favorite places to sit for the week. The cabin is Very clean and Very comfortable, they actually had everything you would need for a week at the lake including outdoor toys and water toys for the kids. We also had a great time at the sandbar in the lake adjoining grass lake, it was an excellent place to sit in the water and relax or play with the kids. I would Strongly reccomend this cabin to anyone from families to couples wanting a getaway.
This cabin was wonderful. we spent Super Bowl weekend at the cabin. The bed was very comfortable, the cabin was well equipped - Did some ice fishing and plenty of relaxing. A great place to bring your dog
