We rented the Lakewood a couple of weeks ago. We were so excited to get there and I had gone on line about a thousand times to look at the pictures,anxiously awaiting our trip and hoping it was as nice in person as it looked on the web! Well our first experience was checking in, Tonya was so welcoming and helpful,I immediately felt a...t ease, the drive to the cabin was beautiful despite the rain. The location was perfect, beautiful trees rushing creek, seclusion, it was paradise, when I opened the cabin door it took my breath away, there is no way pictures could ever do it justice. It was absolutely perfect. 100 times more awesome then I had expected. We had perfect weather the whole week, the local town was friendly and easy to get to. We did the natural bridge and the gorge and loved the skylift ride. We took our 13 year old son and my 91 year old Mom and both had a great time, my Mom said it was the prettiest place she had seen in her whole 91 years.
Thanks to Cabins of Birch Hollow and to the wonderful owner, who we met and was also very kind and eager to make our stay perfect. We will see you again,soon! See More
