Montana at it's best

I loved staying in this wonderful log cabin early this summer. For such a small cabin, this place is well appointed and has a little bit of everything you need for an authentic Montana stay. It's about 70 miles to Yellowstone along a wonderful scenic stretch of highway through the Galllatin River area. It would be nice to have a phone for emergencies and local calls. The owners have put a lot of thouight into decorating this darling getaway home and used high end fixtures for everything, including marble , stone, a professional stove, and in -drawer refrigeration. I would have loved to try out the riverstone fireplace, but it was too hot. It's a quick ride from the airport . I was surprised by the location, since I had expected it to be more rural and directly on the river, but loved it anyway and could have stayed for a week. There is a lot of road noise. The pictures don't do it justice. If I ever get back out there, I would stay again. I think it would be crowded with 4 people, works great for 1 or 2.
