This new construction lake house is located directly on the water. It has all the amenities you could want while vacationing with your family. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen with dishwasher,Washer & Dryer, living room and loft. There are kayaks provided to take a quiet paddle down the shore either early in the morning or as the sun sets across the pond. Great fishing for panfish right from the 50 ft. dock, or for bass and pike not far from shore. Great place for Fishermen and their families. Located close to the Salmon River this is the ideal place to have access to the river yet a nice place to get away and relax when a good day of fishing is done.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family (3 generations) rented this property for 4 days in July, 2009. Everyone had a wonderful experience. The cabin is new and in excellent condition and the yard is shady, even at the end of the day. The covered porch made for a great place to be outside even when it was raining. Some nice surprises were life jackets in all sizes and the marshmallow roasting sticks. The plush towels made it seem like we were in a luxury hotel, but with a much better view! Although you can swim off the dock, there is a much better beach just a boat ride away. We rented a boat since we don't own one, and really enjoyed "boaters beach". We even took a boat ride to Lake Ontartio to watch the sunset one evening.

Great place for a business stay

My company had a visitor from Germany for the month of May. After searching for a place for him to stay, we came upon this house and decided it would be the best option. The owners were very accommodating and excellent to work with as we were making the arrangements. In our visitor's words, "The house is awesome! It's very clean. There are lots of activities available like barbecuing, kajaking, sunbathing, and campfires. The neighbors are all very friendly and it's a calm, peaceful place. I really enjoyed my stay!" My company would definitely use this house again if the need arises and highly recommend it to others.

Great Time on a Salmon Fishing Vacation

We spent four nights here with a group of friends to fish the Salmon River. Been up to the SR many times over the years, but this is the first trip we went with a house instead of a hotel. It worked out great - the house was well stocked with appliances, amenities and supplies. Very clean, well kept & spacious. It's a quiet area with a perfect view of the lake and sunsets (even from inside the house). It's a short ride to the SR and we all caught plenty of Salmon and a few nice Trout. We're already planning on staying here next year. Thanks for the great accomodations and we definitely recommend this house for a vacation any time of the year.

Excellent place to get away from it all!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 week stay ay Sandy Pond. The property was clean and well kept. Since it was after Labor day, there were very few other people around. It was very peaceful. I would consider it again if I were visiting the area.

Even Better than We'd Imagined

This lovely vacation cottage on Sandy Pond provided a spacious place to relax next to the water and invite family in for dinner and visits. Every amenity we could have hoped to have available was there: plenty of dishes, silverware, a toaster, microwave, etc. And everything works! Bathrooms are charming and well furnished. A new gas grill next to the house in the back yard made it possible to cook for a group. Lovely colors in the newly finished interior, and the yard facing the lake made us want to spend all day relaxing, and evenings watching the spectacular sunsets. When we wanted lunch or dinner in a restaruant, there were several good ones within a 10 or 15 minute drive. Fishing off the dock yielded numerous Bass and other fish. We'll certainly want to rent here again!
