EXQUISITELY FURNISHED CLASSICAL SOUTHWESTERN ADOBE (OFF 150 )

My family of 4 adults stayed at Casa Blanca for 3 nights recently and had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, and was decorated beautifully. It had every amenity we could possibly need. The kitchen is so roomy and well-equiped that we cooked dinner in a couple of nights. The beds are very comfortable and the sitting areas outside are lovely for a glass of wine in the evenings. The location of the house was perfect ... just outside of Taos, so away from all the tourists, and not far from Ski Valley either.

Charlie is great to deal with. He gave us some tips on restaurants, hikes, etc. and was easy to reach with any questions.

We did a lot of hiking in the Taos area and particularly enjoyed the Williams Lake hike up in Ski Valley, and the Manby Springs hike into the Rio Grande Gorge (where you can sit in the hot springs by the river ... very cool!) We ate dinner one night at Dragon Fly Cafe and had a great meal ... cute setting. Lunch at Graham's Grill, which was good, too, ... and drinks and appetizers at Gorge Bar and Grill on the square, also good.

I would definitly recommend this house to anyone vacationing in the Taos area. You won't be dissappointed.

The listing description, photos, and property itself was exactly as described, but even better to experience! Owner is helpful and accessible, and offered advice about the Taos area. The hot tub and the heated floors were amazing, the house was spacious yet cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We cooked a couple of full dinners and every dish and utensil we might need was at our fingertips. Beautiful decor and artwork. Favorite day-trip was a visit to Ojo Caliente springs, and we loved the vibe and brews at the new Taos Mesa Brewing Company. Also went to a wonderful yoga class in Arroyo Seco at the community center; teacher is Erin. Can't wait to go back!

I recently spent six nights at Casa Blanca on a ski trip, and look forward to returning again. As the pictures suggest, it is a charming home with custom woodwork, tile, and southwest furnishings and accessories throughout. It is very spacious, clean and well maintained, and has absolutely stunning views of the mountains. I loved the heated tile floors and the new gas cook top. The kitchen was over the top, with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and anything else you might need. I really appreciated being able to borrow brown sugar and spices from the cabinets. There were so many unexpected touches that made for a great stay, down to luxurious robes and plenty of boxes of kleenex. The location, approximately five minutes north of Taos, was perfect. It was an easy drive up the mountain each morning, and well worth the few minutes it took to get there. I would choose Casa Blanca over a condo on the mountain any day. The owners have thought of everything and were a pleasure to work with.
