Description of the Big Canoe vacation house rental
Great Laurel Ridge home in Big Canoe. Three level home has lots of space. The main level features the master bedroom with a queen bed, bath, great room with fireplace, great screened porch and an open-air deck. The upper level features another queen sized bed in the bedroom. There is a sitting area as well as another bath on this upper level. The lower level features two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twins. Another great sitting area is located on this level. Also, a covered porch with a generous size swing is located just outside the sitting area. A view of the mountains, the swim club and lake and Lake Sconti make this the perfect place to rest and recuperate.

The Big Canoe Community is a gated community located between Jasper and Dawsonville that straddles Pickens and Dawson counties at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We are located about 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. The Big Canoe Community offers golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, fishing, non-outboard boating, hiking and dining amenities on a pay as you use basis. Big Canoe is well placed to allow for sight-seeing in the North Georgia Mountains. Close by is shopping at North Georgia Premium Outlet as well as many attractions that allow for a day-trip to Atlanta such as The Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, Stone Mountain and the High Museum. Amicalola Falls State Park is 30 minutes from the Community offering an opportunity to view from the top of the falls. Ellijay is located about 45 minutes northwest of the Community and offers antiquing. In October of each year, Jasper presents the Marble Festival with tours of the marble mines and festivals in the city.
