NOW BOOKING THE 2010 SEASON - This quaint studio cottage located off Sea St. in Dennisport, MA. is LITTERALY only 500 feet to the warm waters of 2 Nantucket Sound Beaches (and less than 1/2 mile to 5 other beaches) and so close to everything else the Cape has to offer. Leave your car in the driveway and walk to the beach (beaches are free). After a day in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound - rinse off the sand & salt water in your private outdoor shower (a Cape tradition), lounge in your private back yard, barbecue a steak or just sit on the deck and relax. Inside, the cottage is bright, comfortable and air conditioned. Amenities include a queen size bed, kitchen w/ full size fridge, electric stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. You'll enjoy the flat screen TV (w/ cable), stereo radio w/ CD player, and wireless DSL Internet connection (bring your laptop). There is a land line phone and the cell phone reception here is great. You'll not be disappointed, I Promise

This charming cottage has a great central location on the Cape - easy to get to the other towns. The property was well maintained (and decorated!). Nice patio furniture and BBQ out on the deck. The Sea Street beach is only a short walk down the street and free (if you walk). We found the kitchen well stocked with appliances and dishes. The bathroom was definitely 'no frills', but the outside shower more than makes up for it. The Murphy Bed was a bit squeaky, but the matress was comfortable. The owner was super easy to work with, and we'd rent from him again.

Someone recommended we try Clancy's Fish & Chips - it was pretty good and less than a mile from the cottage. Our favorite was the ice cream shop (Sundae School) - also about .5 miles. The Cape Cod Rail Trail starts about 2 miles from the cottage and was a fun bike ride (up to 50 miles round-trip if you're up to it). Lots of families in the area, good place for an evening walk or BBQ.
