The beach here along the Chesapeake Bay is a secret well-hidden from most tourist visiting Virginia Beach. The surprisingly wide stretch of beach provides plenty of room to enjoy the day as you please: swimming, fishing, volleyball or simply sunbathing. The gentle surf is great for children or just relaxing on a float in the water. For early-risers, the beach offers an inspiring sunrise. The Virginia Beach Resort area is a short drive away if you want to spend a day there.

The Ocean Breeze Fun Park is a water park which is also located just outside the resort area. The Lynnhaven Fishing Pier is only 2 miles away. There are a number of Fishing boat charters available with destinations including the Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic Ocean, and even the Gulf Stream if you so desire. Numerous quality public golf courses are located nearby in the city of Virginia Beach as well as surrounding areas. Busch Gardens Amusement Park and Water Country, USA are located in Williamsburg, VA (approximately a 50 minute drive).
