Beautiful home in the Brookland area. Walking distance to the Metro and a half block to Metrobus. The top 2 levels of this quaint Cape Cod offers 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath and 1 half bath. The warm and cozy designer living room offers a flat screen, wall mounted TV. Great for relaxing and entertaining. The gourmet kitchen includes a Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Microwave. The house is fully furnished and includes linens and kitchenware. You have to see the huge backyard that is perfect for relaxing. This is a renovated single family house with windows on all four sides. Central A/C, Cable TV and high speed Internet are also included. Owner resides in basement suite.

You Can't Go Wrong with this Rental

My family was fortunate to be able to obtain this rental during the inauguration. We stayed for 5 nights and let me tell you it was cold!!! However, the first day we arrived, the house was spotless and WARM! The house temperature felt like a big snuggly blanket. The rental was truly a home away from home. No only did we have all the comforts, we were provided with individual room heaters so that we would not be uncomfortable. As stated before the house was warm and snuggly that we did not use them. When we plan on next trip to DC, I will certainly request this rental. As a mother of 3 school age children, this is your best bet. The neighborhood was quite. You can't lose with rental.

We had a great trip to D.C. and Crystals house was perfect .It was close to the metro yet far enough away from downtown that driving around was enjoyable. If you are planning a trip to D.C. forget the hotels because this is the best deal for the money.

Great home away from home!

We just returned last week from a visit to DC and stayed in this home. What a wonderful experience! It is charming, very clean and neat and so convenient to get around DC. The bus stop is just at the corner and a couple of stops away is the Metro which in three stops takes you to Union Station. Other than our visits to Old Town Alexandria and Mt. Vernon we left the car parked and used the bus and metro the entire week! There is a large grocery store nearby and is a perfect "home away from home" while visiting the DC area. We would definitely stay here again! A wonderful quiet neighborhood was a plus. We were so pleased with our choice and it helped make our week perfect. The owner is wonderful and left visitor information for us in the front hall for our convenience. We almost hated to leave and say goodbye.

Great find!

My husband and I recently spent a very enjoyable week here with our two teenagers. The house was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and tastefully furnished. Crystal, the owner, lives in a lower level and was extremely accomodating. There is a security system, so safety was never an issue. The house is perfectly located for sightseeing, as it is easily accessible to the downtown area either by car or public transportation. Supermarkets are nearby. Be sure to visit the Franciscan Monastery and the Basilica at Catholic University only a few blocks away.
